Marlene created her unique Learn to Play Guitar in a Day!® workshop to meet the needs of busy people who dream of learning to play guitar. It is based on her successful private lesson format and is equivalent to 8 weekly lessons ~ all in one day! This simple and entertaining program makes it possible for attendees to play guitar right away ~ while having fun!
This live 5 hour workshop is presented at universities, colleges, guitar events and various venues around the United States. Due to COVID restrictions workshops are currently virtual. Additionally, Marlene presents her popular Corporate Guitar Workshops (currently virtual) which are great for team building activities, inspiring creativity and reducing stress in a fun way.
Learn to Play Guitar in a Day! has been featured on PBS, CBS, NBC, NPR, Acoustic Guitar, Making Music Magazine, the Women’s International Music Network, several news publications and is a 2014 Player’s Choice Award nominee.
